The K-Factory is located in Baner just opposite to Kapil Malhar Society. The K-Factory serves continental, Italian, North Indian, Desserts and Salads. The Décor of this place is simple yet modern and impressive. They have two seating space options; the ground floor has few seating tables where as the upper floor has good seating capacity and looks more organized. I was invited over here for food tasting.
We tried below dishes during our lunch:-
Mocktails:
Cucumber/Mint: Cucumber, Mint Lime & Ice.
Watermelon Basil: Watermelon, mango, basil & Ice, was prepared using slush.
Pomegranate: Pomegranate juice, grenadine & sprite.
Dark Chocolate Smoothie: Vanilla Ice Cream, Dark Chocolate, Cocoa Powder.
Cucumber and Pomegrante were my best pick.
Salads:
Factory Special: French Beans, garlic confit tomatoes, mixed green lettuce, candied walnuts, balsamic olive oil reduction. It was nice and cruchy.
Spicy SeaFood Salad: Reshado spied cooked calamari & prawns along with roasted bell peppers and honey mustard dressing, lettuce. The fiery and tangy rechado masala was superbly done. #Highlyrecommended
Both salads were superbly done but my favourite one was the Spicy seafood salad.
Starters:
Chicken Hassle Back Potatoes: The dish had roasted chicken with BBQ sauce, onions, garlic and cheese on top of the baked potatoes. Chicken was well cooked and the sauce was really good in taste. #Recommended
Chicken Drum Stick: Roasted chicken drumsticks in paparika puree, herb crème and BBQ sauce was a bit spicy in taste and chicken was well cooked. #Highlyrecommended
Peri Peri Chicken Flatbread: The base was thin, crispy and well baked, the topping were evenly spread in generous quantity, and It was medium spicy in taste, however I felt that it should have been a bit spicier.
Baguettes: Smoked tandoori chicken, onions, chutney, tomatoes, cucumber, freshly baked baguette. It had generous filling of tender and juicy chicken, and the chicken had a slightly smokey flavor. #Recommended
Seafood Curry: There is an option of Ravas or Prawns, we opted from prawns one. The curry was thick in consistency, medium spicy, tangy and was prepared using coconut milk, it was well balanced and the prawns were cooked nicely. It was served along with rice and pao. I enjoyed the same with rice. #Highlrecommended
Veg spread which was served to us was equally good but for my experience purpose I have focued on non veg dishes only.
Pasta; Pan fried cottage cheese, tossed in paprika puree, served with spaghetti algio olio & stir fried vegetables.
Tandoor Roast Flatbread: Cottage Cheese, mixed peppers, onions, cauliflower, mushrooms, tomato concasse, mozzarella
Mushroom Hassle Back Potatoes: Wilted spinach, mushrooms and cheese on top of baked potatoes.
Mushroom Tonak: Wild stuffed mushrooms served on a bed of lentils cooked in konkanese spices served with steam rice or pao.
Veg Lasagne: Tandoor roasted cottage cheese, tossed in tikka masala sauce, layered between lasagna sheets and topped with cheese.
Desserts:
Dark Chocolate, Orange and Cointreau Mousse: Served with caramelized walnuts, strawberry compote and choco biscuit dust did catch my attention. It was chocolaty and was delicious.
Pan Gulkand Ice Cream: I have eaten Paan ice cream at multiple places and I found that Paan flavor is dominating most of the times, at K-Factory Pan flavour was on a mild side and was perfectly balanced with gulkand. #MustHave
Rum & Coffee misu: Mind Blowing! One of the best I have had in Pune. Perfect on sweetness level and had strong cocoa flavor. It literally melted in my mouth #Highlyrecommended
Overall: Service was exceptional and restaurant was hygienic. The Staff was friendly and super courteous. Rates are pretty reasonable and quantity and quality of the food is excellent. K Factory is definitely among one of my highly recommended places to go along with friends and family.
